When booking, I was also confused on the many different types of rooms. I know they have something similar on their website but I found it difficult to find so I attached their brochure as well for easy reference. After arrival, I was pleasantly surprised! The pictures that I have come across previously and on their website show the view from the "High Noon" building which has rooms 1-20. We stayed in the Sea Foam property (all properties are side by side and not far apart). We stayed in room 40 which is beautiful and has shutters that open (there is still a security window) to a beautiful view of the distant ocean. I only say "distant" because there is some shrubbery between the pool and the sand, but it is still a perfect view! During our stay, we upgraded to a larger suite in room 35. This room was back off the pool and the first room off the gate. Though not in front of the pool, it still had shutters that had direct eye sight to the ocean overlooking the courtyard. If you are not familiar with Lauderdale but the Sea, this is a small town basically off El Mar drive... As the reviews support, hidden gem! If you are not familiar with Lauderdale but the Sea, this is a small town basically off El Mar drive but in the center is a mix of shops and restaurants and the best part, it is only steps (and I mean steps) from High Noon. We were able to visit 6 restaurants (and there is more) each within a 90 second walk.

Additional Perks - Had enough keys for each person, decent amount of parking spaces, kitchens are fully loaded, a minute to walk onto beach, umbrellas and chairs available (though I suggest you grab yours on the earlier side), pool towels provided, additional beach things like flippers, googles, boards, and toys for the kids, Outside grill, right off a coral reef for those scuba enthusiasts and some great company!)   This hotel is about as close as you can get to the center of Lauderdale by the Sea. It was clean, right on the ocean and had 2... read more pools. We never had a problem getting a chair. It does not have a restaurant or bar on location. It has a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere but steps away to all the restaurants/bars which have happy hour every day.

Our AC didn't seem to work too good and because of that the room was musty but once we told the staff they immediately fixed the AC. I just wish we hadn't waited 2 days to tell them.

I would highly recommend staying at this resort.

We were in room 6 which was on the second floor with a king bed, pullout couch and small kitchen with a table which was perfect. We had a late check in which was super easy as there was a lockbox that we were able to access without issue. The pool was warm and there were beach chairs, a few beach toys and umbrellas that we were able to bring to the beach. The location was so close to the restaurants; some nights we walked the beach to get over there. The kitchen was stocked with things and Publix was close enough to walk to to bring back groceries.

Wanted to visit last March... read more 2022, yet the resort was at 100% capacity. Most times that in and of itself says a lot. If it’s in demand, it’s usually for very good reasons. Since COVID and it’s impact on our travel plans, we decided to try again and found a few dates available this August. So we immediately booked 6 nights. We’re not “resort motel” people. We’re more Ritz Carlton. Four Seasons folks. However from the first steps on the property I knew we came across an amazing place! Everyone from the front desk staff, the housekeeping staff, and the owners (Bruce, Brian, and Dad) are just very welcoming and amazing people. What a history and legacy created by this family for all of us to enjoy. The accommodations are clean and well maintained. The common areas (pool, courtyards, gardens) well cared for and maintained. 4 minute walk to the beach through their own parh through the dunes. Definitely like a good time, but appreciate that this place doesn’t t like partying crowds or just plain rude and disrespectful guests. We met other guests who have been coming for upwards of 20 years. Now that’s impressive! Their stories and genuine appreciation bubbled over. We’llwe booked 4 nights in November (last 4 consecutive nights in Unit 001 until next June 2023)! And we booked a family stay snagging a couple units for 10 days in mid June 2023. While we’ll still patronize the Ritz and Four Seasons, when coming to Ft Lauderdale, we’ll be hard pressed to want to stay anywhere else. More

We were lucky to score an oceanfront room (#2) which provided us with two balconies - one facing the pool and our favorite, facing the ocean. Our room was clean and nicely appointed - perfect really for 2 people. We didn't want to cook dinners but like a kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. The kitchen is small but functional. Overall, we were so satisfied with our choice and it's location, that we were regretful that we didn't book our entire stay there. We would definitely go back! And if anyone asked us what we'd change if we could - the answer would be, please open another resort on the gulf coast. 😉
