  Loved it! - We had a great stay at High Noon! We originally looked at the Plunge Beach Resort but are so glad we decided to stay here. We can as a family... read more of 3, including a 5 year old. We were in room 6 which was on the second floor with a king bed, pullout couch and small kitchen with a table which was perfect. We had a late check in which was super easy as there was a lockbox that we were able to access without issue. The pool was warm and there were beach chairs, a few beach toys and umbrellas that we were able to bring to the beach. The location was so close to the restaurants; some nights we walked the beach to get over there. The kitchen was stocked with things and Publix was close enough to walk to to bring back groceries.

  1 star because there were fleas in my room (possibly bug beds as well--started with 15 bites on my ankles and feet now seeing 3 more on my back and... read more thigh) and in the sheets. i’ll get to that in a moment. staff upon check in were very pleasant even tho —i texted at 11:07 am upon my arrival to the airport if i’d be able to check in earlier. i then called at 11:36 and they mentioned that the last guest just checked out and that the room would be ready by 2. i arrive at the resort at 1:45 ish the room isn’t ready until 3. as i was waiting i went to peek in my room (efficiency 1) and the ladies were in the bathroom chatting it up rather than cleaning. i don’t say anything because i’m afraid if i rush them, the room won’t be clean. fast forward to the next morning. i wake up with a bite on my ankle which i assume was a mosquito bite but kept getting bit on my feet and ankles over the next couple of days. i finally decide to check the bed hoping it’s not bed bugs—i pulled the blankets and top sheet all the way back and behold 2 little fleas are hopping about —i was able to catch 1 not sure where the other went. also saw 1 in the kitchen when i was checking out. they say they don’t allow pets and only service animals and that the last guest didn’t have a pet. but my main issue is regardless if they did or didn’t —my feeling is that the sheets weren’t clean or the room wasn’t cleaned efficiently. i shower faithfully before i get into bed any where i go. so the fact that they were at the end of the bed in the sheets. smh. told the front when i checked out and all they said was that they’d have maintenence check. i have 15 bites on my ankles and feet backs and legs from a dirty room, i’m staring to thing there may have been bed bugs as well. also had someone coming to sit on my ‘private patio’ at 4 am — and an inconsiderate neighbor extremely loud on facetime during ‘quiet hours’ morning and night right outside my room door.
